Essential Job Functions:
- Quality control and analysis of survey documents, including survey plans, record plots, metes and bounds descriptions, review of title commitment reports and construction layout services.
- Provide daily progress and status reports on project deliverables.
- Responsible for administering surveying activities which includes oversight of staff, technical resources, and client communication for multiple projects.
- Prepare and execute quality control reviews, safety, and quality assurance procedures.
- Initiate and participate in business development activities to partner with new and existing clients.
- Continually seeks opportunities to increase client satisfaction and deepen client relationships.
- Monitor project budgets and accountability for project profitability and review project billing reports for monthly invoicing.
- Staff development
- Proposal and contract preparation and execution.
- Prepare and review field work for survey crews.
- Serve as a member of DPK’s Leadership Team.
- Other duties as assigned.
- New Jersey PLS
- Proficient/knowledgeable in all aspects of land surveying.
- A minimum of 5-8 years of survey management experience.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of project management.
- Bachelor's Degree in surveying preferred.
- Proficient in Auto CAD Civil 3D.
- Ability to relate to clients and people at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret drawings and the most complex documents.
- Ability to operate a computer, using technical software and other applications, spreadsheets, and other business software.
- Driven to succeed.
- Effective customer service and verbal and written communication skills
- Continually seeks opportunities to increase client satisfaction and deepen client relationships.
