Please note: Due to a shortage of student housing and to align with student visa requirements (if applicable), we require for your application to be considered that you are enrolled with a Dutch university (of applied sciences) or college (studying communications/ design/ marketing) and your internship is a required part of your study programme. You should also already be located in the Netherlands.
Are you passionate about entrepreneurship and do you have a hands-on mentality? We might have the right internship for you! As Intern Entrepreneurial Learning, you will be able to develop your project coordination skills in an environment that is dedicated to empower everyone to be entrepreneurial through building the right skills. To this end, we run entrepreneurship training programmes for students, entrepreneurs, teachers, and policymakers both in the Netherlands as well as abroad. As part of the education team, you support the smooth implementation of these programmes, working together with experienced trainers and project managers. In addition to the possibility to learn more about entrepreneurship and startups, we offer you the chance to get to know the entrepreneurship ecosystem in Rotterdam better, to build a network for your entrepreneurial career!
What you will work on:
- Contribute to the coordination of our entrepreneurial learning programmes for students, entrepreneurs, teachers and policymakers;
- Reach out and maintain contact with programme partners and participants, both in the Netherlands as well as abroad;
- Collaborate with team members to evaluate programme effectiveness and identify areas for improvement to maximise the positive societal impact of our activities;
- Occasional support with research and facility coordination tasks.
- A great, entrepreneurial internship experience starting in January/February 2025 for five or six months;

- An internship compensation of €500 per month on a fulltime basis.
- you are enrolled with a Dutch university (of applied sciences) or college and your internship is a required part of your study programme. You are already located in the Netherlands;
- Is available at least four days per week starting in January or the latest on the 3rd of February, 2025;
- Is ambitious, entrepreneurial and can work independently;
- Is social and has a positive mindset and attitude (looking at challenges as opportunities instead of problems!);
- Has a hands-on mentality and likes to get things done;
- Is proficient (speaking and writing) in Dutch and English (required);
- An advantage: has an affinity for entrepreneurship and innovation or has worked at an incubator, startup community, or startup facilitator.
Erasmus Centre for Entrepreneurship (ECE) is a leading international centre for entrepreneurship education and research. Located in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, ECE empowers aspiring and seasoned entrepreneurs through knowledge, networks and access to resources, enabling them to turn their ideas into thriving business ventures. As part of Erasmus University Rotterdam, we offer scientific insights made applicable for practice, various (training) programmes based on the scientific findings, events and support services that cultivate entrepreneurial thinking and encourage entrepreneurial behaviour. As an intern within the organisation, you will become acquainted with the many aspects of entrepreneurship and have the opportunity to work on various projects. We work with an energetic and driven team of 20-25 people and an excellent working atmosphere is paramount. Our office is located in the heart of Rotterdam amidst a vibrant entrepreneurial community at Microlab where we have daily office lunches and weekly networking drinks.

2. Online 30-minute interview with one of our team members.
3. Case day (half day) at our office to experience the atmosphere and meeting the team. We will also ask you to prepare one or two cases that relate to what you will work on if you were to join and present this to part of the team at the end of the day.
4. Hiring decision (on average within one week after the case day).
