Job Summary
Flowserve is looking for a technically experienced engineer who will work as Onsite Asset Manager for Shell plants in The Netherlands. You will act as a product specialist and work closely with the customer field technician and instrumentation leaders. Job Summary
Flowserve is looking for a technically experienced engineer who will work as Onsite Asset Manager for Shell plants in The Netherlands. Responsibilities & Requirements
- Communicate the needs of customers to Flowserve
- Be the customers’ primary source of information regarding design, application, installation, operation, and maintenance of our valves, actuation and instrumentation.
- Evaluation of requests, generation of solution proposals
- Perform troubleshooting and diagnostics on control valve and on/off valve with minimal support.
- Manage and assist in developing the Flowserve installed valve database and respective specifications
- Evaluate reports and data to support recommendations for improvement, replacement, or repair of equipment.
- Experience as an Applications Engineer is preferable
- Should be capable of performing control valve and on/off valve troubleshooting and diagnostics with minimal support.
- You have the capability and experience with FLS family of digital products including use and trouble shooting.
- You got Knowledge of key digital protocols (HART, FFB, Profi, Mod, etc) and connection to DCS, PAMS and SIS systems.
- Troubleshoot technical problems at our customer sites and in-house at our Flowserve Quick Response Repair Center.
- Should be able to expedite essential spare parts sourced from different QRCs
- You can provide basic repair training and guidance for Shell I&E craft team members
- You’re able to provide coordination and field support during major turnarounds and minor outages
- Help organize and ensure monthly “Bad Actor” meetings to maintain visibility on equipment performance.
- Provide technical guidance about successful installation and operation of our products, ensuring that standardized installation procedures are followed
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or equivalent
- Good communication skills in Dutch and English is mandatory
- Strong technician acumen and analytical thinking.
- Conduct technical training as needed for our customers.
