As our Frontend Developer, you’re responsible for the ‘look and feel’ of our platform. With your expertise in modern frameworks and eye for UI/UX, you’ll ensure a seamless and appealing user experience. • Build scalable, structured frontend code that strengthens our codebase long-term.

• 2-4 years of experience with frontend development and frameworks like Svelte, React, or Vue.
• An analytical mindset and a detail-oriented approach – nothing escapes your attention.
• Strong communication skills for collaborating with the team and stakeholders.
• A drive to build technology that makes a difference in recruitment.

A Typical Day at The Selection Lab

• 8:00 - 9:00: Start the day with a coffee or tea, setting up your plan for the day while reviewing some PRs or designs.
• 9:15: Daily standup. Join the team to discuss goals and delve into the technical details during the developer stand-up.
• 10:00: Focus time – dive deep into code: work on new features, optimizations, or handle a code review.
• 12:00: Lunchtime! Enjoy a tasty lunch with the whole team (Friday roti has become a thing!).
• 12:30: Code reviews and collaboration – share ideas, plan, give feedback, or work together to improve the codebase.
• 13:30: Second focus block – tackle that challenging piece of code, experiment with new tools, or refine a feature.
• 16:00: Growth & learning: a 1-on-1 to discuss your goals or time to explore a new library.
• 17:30 - …: End the day however you like. Whether it’s with a boot camp, a drink, or one last hour of focus, you choose what energizes you.
