About the Position:
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an operations intern. As operations intern you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of managing a chain of coffee bars. The main focus entails operational efficiency, scheduling, menu engineering, events, and employee training.
In this role, you will work together on taks with HR and the operations team, including but not limited to:
- Helping out operationally, showing efficiency and teamwork from the floor
- Monthly location visits to coach the managers
- Setting up and running events
- Coming up with new revenue streams
- Analyzing current location data and suggesting and implementing improvement points
- Internal & external training
- Optimizing team composition & scheduling
- Currently following BSc or MSc or have completed higher education in areas (incl. Hospitality management & F&B management).
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively in both a team environment as individually
- Available for 32 hours a week for a duration of at least 6 months
- Ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic working environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Power Point, Excel and Outlook
- Experience in the hospitality industry for a couple of years, in the coffee industry is a plus
- Possesses professional level interpersonal skills and English proficiency
- Speaking Dutch is a plus
