Logistics and Commercial Data Analyst

We are currently looking for an experienced professional for Logistics and commercial data analyst role, based in our office in Amsterdam.
- The candidate will support on the evolution and innovation of our current suite of data and analytics tools focusing in the Supply Chain and Commercial areas
- The candidate will work on the design and enhancement of Power BI dashboards aiming to provide greater visibility to business stakeholders
- The candidate will support our sales organization with the maintenance of our forecasting/contracting system
- The candidate will be responsible for running and maintaining our supply chain network optimization tool (COPA Lamasoft), which is a platform that offers advanced analytics capabilities to provide insights and optimize supply chain networks
- The candidate will be expected to pro-actively identify opportunities for process improvements within the supply chain and commercial functions leveraging the data analysis and visualization tools
- Proficiency in Power BI; including DAX and Power Query (M language)
- Proficiency in MS-Excel
- Willingness to grow in the data analytics area
- Strong understanding of data modelling, data analysis and visualization
- Business analysis skills including project management, defining and documenting business requirements, writing process descriptions and drawing process diagrams
- Proactive analytical mindset
- Strong communication skills
- Educational Background in fields such as Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics or Engineering
