About Your Future Job
As Operational Coordinator Real Estate & Facility, you’ll bridge the gap between business needs and operations, ensuring that our workspaces evolve with Thales’ demands. Working with diverse stakeholders—from Naval to IT—you’ll coordinate space management, oversee strategic planning, and play a hands-on role in projects that shape how we work, like creating a unified front office. You’ll anticipate business needs, make operational and tactical decisions, and help elevate our team’s impact on Thales’ future.
You’ll also be the go-to person for workplace allocation and spearhead efforts to create an activity-based workplace in Hengelo—where people and ideas thrive.

About the Team
Join the dynamic Real Estate & Facility Management (RE-FM) team at Thales Netherlands, where we take care of everything that makes working here smooth, safe, and enjoyable. Here’s what we handle:

Real Estate: We manage 20 industrial and office buildings in Hengelo and 15 leased spaces at other locations, including the innovative High-Tech Systems Park in Hengelo.

Facility Management: We oversee strategic facility services and partner with outsourced experts to deliver seamless operations.

Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE): We create a safe and sustainable workplace, focusing on health, environmental impact, and pollution prevention.

Office Management: Our Service Point and Management Assistants team supports the business every day.

Security (CSM): Our country security team keeps our facilities secure through proactive awareness and preventive measures.

Travel Management: Our Travel Manager ensures smooth travel experiences by overseeing local policies, budgets, and vendor relationships.
