Role: Operations Sales & Administration Executive (Customs)

Location: Amsterdam City Centre, Netherlands

We are currently recruiting for an Operations Sales & Administration Executive within our Customs & International Trade and Freight Forwarding department.

This role will require an individual who will proactively engage and convert hot new business leads, alongside administering set up of new clients, organise their documents, and ensuring correct and timely data entry of enquiries and emails.

Operations Sales & Administration Executive (Customs), the role:

• Respond to inbound client queries via telephone/email and also using Zoom/Teams.
• Provide proactive outbound advice to clients (both new and existing).
• Administer the setting up of new clients and organise documents.
• Able to take full management responsibility for a portfolio of clients expanding over Europe, and rest of the world.
• Produce marketing material with external partners and other service providers.
• Assist in maintaining partner relationships via organising events and managing network groups.
• Ensure that all databases and systems are accurate and complete.
• Demonstrating and applying commercial acumen.
• Carry out administrative tasks as required to support the team members.
• Collaborate with the team in a positive manner.

Operations Sales & Administration Executive (Customs), the person:

• A background in direct sales and customer service, and administration.
• Excellent communication, and multi-tasking skills.
• Confident, professional, and friendly so customer relationships are of the highest quality.
• Motivated to achieve targets and interested in helping customers expand & improve their business.
• Organised with proven ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Works well in a team as well as independently.
• Actively listen to customers then smoothly handle & overcome any objections.
• Able to handle complaints and remain calm under pressure.
• Previous experience in Customs/Freight Forwarding is desirable but full training will be provided.
