Project Procurement Coordinator

• Execute project procurement activities in accordance with the project procurement plan.
• Provide guidance to the Project Manager to facilitate 'make or buy' decisions.
• Procure (non-standard/special) materials based on project requirements and technical specifications.
• Research the (international) supplier market to evaluate delivery options and reliability, including visiting (potential) suppliers.
• Receive, evaluate, and organize offers based on quality, price, and delivery options.
• Select suppliers based on quality and technical specifications, potentially consulting with the Project Manager.
• Negotiate prices, delivery times, payment terms, and contracts with suppliers.
• Monitor supplier performance and provide feedback to suppliers.
• Address day-to-day supplier-related issues promptly and effectively.
Collaborate with the sales department to provide input during the quotation phase.

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience as a substitute for a degree.
• Experience in procurement or purchasing roles, preferably in a project delivery or manufacturing environment.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with procurement software or ERP systems is preferred, with SAP being a particular advantage.
• Knowledge of procurement regulations and best practices.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Technical background is not a must, but some interest to understand the jobs is required.
