Your role:
Are you a quantitative software developer who is eager to merge your skills with consultancy and financial markets within a dynamic entrepreneurial setting? Zanders is looking for a Quantitative developer to expand the Quant development team. This is an energetic team of highly qualified professionals with extensive knowledge of financial markets (OTC derivatives & securities), programming and mathematics! The Quant development team comprises of people with a strong open source philosophy leveraging on packages such as Strata, Quant Lib and Open Risk Engine (ORE). As part of our team, you will play a pivotal role in advising our clients on matters related to their risk models, policies, and governance.
Key Responsibilities:

• Develop new quantitative models for clients,
• Extend Zanders software suite for derivative valuations and risk calculations,
• Perform risk management and OTC derivatives valuation calculations,
• Provide support and advice to traders and risk managers on various quantitative topics.
• The position offers excellent opportunities to excel in what you do and to broaden your modelling skills, as well as exposure to a dynamic and Agile working environment.

Skills to be successful:

• An academic degree (MSc or Ph D) in a quantitative field. Preferably (Financial) Mathematics, Econometrics or Software Engineering,
• 0-2 years of experience, with familiarity with financial markets and the most important developments. Familiarity with derivatives pricing and risk calculations is a plus,
• Strong knowledge and experience with programming languages, such as C++, Java and/or Python,
• Intention to develop your knowledge in either financial markets, programming or mathematics,
• Strong communication skills and fluency in English,
• Constructive attitude and pro-active team player.
