Position: Research Internship - Plant-Based Food Innovation
Location: Holten, The Netherlands
Topic: Assessing product quality of new meat replacer developments - Connectingcomputer vision-based analytical methods with sensory assessments.
Responsibilities:
Plan and carry out a research project on new ingredients or technologies for the production of plant-based meat replacers:

• Plan and execute kitchen and lab experiments to develop innovative plant-based food solutions;
• Analyze data and transfer into advice for the development of new product formulations and processes;

Stakeholder Engagement:

• Engage with internal and external stakeholders to explore new ingredient or technology opportunities;

Support Product Development:

• Carry out experiments to support product development projects;
• Take part in internal sensory panels and help improve the quality of our products;

Requirements:

• Master or Bachelor Student in Food Technology/Food Science, or related studies with emphasis on sensory experiments.
• Ability to be proactive and self-starting, with a strong initiative to identify opportunities and drive projects forward independently.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate complex data and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with a passion for driving positive change.
• Knowledge and experience in sensory work is a plus
