We are actively seeking a highly motivated Sales & Business Development professional to join our expanding team and drive the growth and expansion of our company.
Job Summary
As a Sales & Business Development professional at Engineering Trainer, you will play a critical role in driving new sales and expanding our business. Your primary focus will be on identifying and securing new clients, developing strategic partnerships, and exploring new markets. You will be responsible for generating leads, closing deals, and contributing to the overall growth of the company. You will work closely with the core team and directly with the founders and have the opportunity to make a direct impact on our growth trajectory.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, target, and engage potential clients to grow our customer base and expand into new markets.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified leads through research, networking, and outreach activities.
- Conduct sales presentations, product demonstrations, and negotiations to close deals with new clients.
- Develop and nurture relationships with key decision-makers in target companies to secure long-term partnerships.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create and implement effective sales campaigns and materials.
- Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, potential markets, and competitive opportunities.
- Provide feedback to the product development team based on market insights and customer needs.
- Participate in industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to increase brand visibility and generate leads.
- Join in the optimization and development of sales material and processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a talent for building relationships and closing deals.
- Results-driven mindset with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Ability to work independently and proactively in a fast-paced, start-up environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- High proficiency in the English language.
- A growth mindset, life-long learner, and a doer attitude. Creative, curious, proactive, and autonomous.
- Enthusiasm for working in a young and fast-growing start-up environment.
- Available to work 1.0 FTE.
- Living in the Netherlands, able to work in our office near Utrecht.
- Familiarity with the energy and chemical sector is a plus.
- Experience in sales, business development, or a related role is a plus.
