SENIOR MANAGER BUSINESS PIPE & UTILITIES EUROPE


DEPARTMENT
The European Pipe & Utilities team is part of the Global Pipe Segment within the Polymers Sales & Market Solutions organization. The Regional Leader gives lead to 8 direct reports and reports to the Global Leader Pipe & Utilities.
You will collaborate internally with the Global Segment & Sales teams, SABIC BU Leaders, T&I, Manufacturing, Supply Chain Management, Legal, Communications and HR. Externally you'll intensively interact with the Pipe Value Chain, senior executives at segment customers, network owners, i Industry Associations and Regulatory Agencies.


JOB PURPOSE & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead a multi-national regional market facing team incl. development of the sales strategy, its execution, technical service, product standardization/certification and new business development.
• Manage external executive relationships along the Pipe Segment Value Chain.
• Drive specific Pipe Segment branding and marketing strategies supporting growth and differentiation.
• Drive the broader internal organization towards agreed targets like sales volume, pricing, differentiation and new business development in co-operation with the regional product line leaders to achieve targeted profitability and growth as set in strategy.
• Accountable for all regional Segment targets, budgeting & 5 year Business Plan, team development, pricing and customer negotiations.

MINIMUM EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• Min. Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering or Chemistry.
• >10 years' experience in refinery/gas/petrochemical/trading international industry.
• Fluent in English. Proficiency in other european languages is advantageous.
• Strong managerial, conceptual, communicative, and analytical skills.
• In-depth knowledge of sales/marketing concepts with specific business expertise.
• Proven capability to drive change and mobilize teams.
• Readiness to travel a couple of times in a month (50-75%) within Europe.
