Job Description:
As Senior Cost Price Analyst you represent NTS Mechatronics concerning (open) cost calculations and pricing towards both the internal organization and our customers. The day-to-day work ranges from collecting data, monitoring progress, supporting colleagues with their input for the Costing model, follow up on cases, participation in the change control board to the actual final cost calculation and discussing this with our Account Managers and Business Unit Managers. For this, you’ll use e.g. in-depth research and market analysis, historical pricing data, competitor pricing, and our costs structure. You’ll monitor profit margins and determine ways to reduce costs to remain competitive. You’ll also support our sales team in price discussion meetings with our customers and have some customer contact yourself regarding regular pricing questions.
The job is a combination of day-to-day work regarding cost price calculations and process improvements.
You are also an initiator and analyst who is great at analyzing our current way of working and finding improvements. Your improvement ability focusses both on improving the maturity in the way of working of our organization in order to achieve great insights in our cost pricing to achieve the best results for both us and our customers by contributing to for example price reductions. You like to guide our organization in this, also if this means having lots of difficult conversations and discussions.
Key Responsibilities:

• You are the First Point of Contact for questions from colleagues.

• You will act as the team representative and ambassador to various stakeholders throughout the business from all levels of seniority.

• You research, determine, compare and monitor price models.

• You represent NTS Mechatronics concerning (open) cost calculations and pricing towards our customers and internal organization.

• You actively keep up to date with and analyze the impact of the latest changes in the field, also regarding how our competitors are working. From your expertise you support and advise our management about this and implement the needed changes.

• Set up & provide onboarding & refresh training regarding the costing process.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor degree or higher in a related field, e.g. Business Economics, Data Analysis, Engineering or equal.

• You have experience working in an industrial environment and have good knowledge and insights in competitive pricing in our market.

• You are an experienced analyst (MUST).

• You are an experience improvement specialist (MUST).

• You are an initiator and analyst who is great at analyzing our current way of working and finding improvements, even if that means a complete redesign of the process.

• You are able to take a project leaders role in multi-disciplinary workgroups to guide the improvements.

• You have good insight into and experience with processing numbers and large amounts of data.

• You have good Excel skills.

• Programming skills are a pre.

• Fluent in English, verbal and written – Dutch would be a distinct advantage.
