As Senior Product manager Senior Product Manager TM Control Standards, you play a critical role in safeguarding the bank's reputation and ensuring that it adheres to the required standards of regulatory compliance.
You have the opportunity to give input to and contribute to design and develop Control Standard, including contributing to proposals so that the most informed decisions can be made. You will lead initiatives that enable Control Standards TM to reach their maturity targets with the aim to be best in class. This includes providing recommendations, direction and guidance on topics such as model management, coverage, segmentation, scenario logic and threshold setting, processes and alert handling. The role not only focuses on the high priority initiatives within TM, including sharpening objectives, resolving blockers and maximising benefits realisation. The role also focuses on the joint FEC initiatives where TM is part of (mainly CDD and or Sanctions related). The emphasis of this role is more on W&R than on Retail NL.
As a key player in this role, you will leverage your global expertise in Transaction Monitoring (TM) to ensure the successful achievement of TM's maturity levels.

Your Responsibilities:
- Apply advanced TM knowledge to enhance TM’s maturity levels effectively.
- Design and develop alert handling processes by providing advice on TM risks, relevant legislation, efficiency potential, and
- Collaborate with FEC and frontline stakeholders to create globally consistent strategies.
- Offer clear input and support to the team, aligning their work with industry best practices and the bank's overall strategy and goals.
- Maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the bank's TM program aligns with industry best practices.
- Contribute to the ownership of TM policies and procedures, ensuring they are up-to-date and comply with the latest regulatory requirements, including the use of TM lists.
- Ensure TM risk models are fit for purpose and meet the bank's global standards and Wwft regulations.
- Participate in the development and implementation of quality standards.
- Help develop the bank's TM risk appetite framework to reflect global strategic goals and regulatory requirements, and monitor ongoing TM-related activities.
- Work with FEC and frontline stakeholders to develop solutions for new or changing TM requirements arising from relevant laws or regulations.
- Contribute to the development and communication of a clear vision for Control Standards, ensuring it is understood and embraced by all stakeholders.
- Lead new decision-making processes through data-driven analyses.
- Establish effective governance and oversight processes for the efficient execution of the team’s responsibilities.
- Provide input on emerging trends and best practices.

You and your talent
- Relevant Bachelor or Master’s degree.
- You have at least 5 years relevant work experience in AML/CDD/TM/Sanctions field of expertise in the banking industry.
- Experience with IT developments and innovation in the field of AML.
- Affinity with and understanding of risk models.
- Extensive knowledge and experience in the area of TM compliance and regulations, with a deep understanding of the regulatory landscape and emerging trends.
- Extensive knowledge and experience in a global TM role related to detection and alert handling.
- Knowledge of international innovation and trends regards TM.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to develop and implement quality standards, metrics, and training programs.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Project management skills and consulting skills.
- Responding to regulatory programs. You master the English language in word and writing.
