As our Strategic Sourcing and Project Manager, you will be responsible of our procurement projects, ensuring we keep track of our suppliers, optimize cost, quality, and delivery. You will have the opportunity to shape our procurement strategy and collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders. By strategically sourcing high-quality components and fostering strong supplier relationships, you'll directly support our radar production and drive our continued innovation.

Responsibilities

• Drive the new product introduction (NPI) process by implementing sourcing projects and involving the selected suppliers.
  
• Supervise strategic acquisition or outsourcing projects in line with the company’s current or future product portfolio.
  
• Coordinate both tactical and strategic product categories in line with business objectives to ensure that business targets are met.
  
• Find and maintain a suppliers’ network to achieve the best possible conditions in terms of quality, delivery reliability and price.
  
• Negotiate, implement and deploy general purchasing contracts and agreements.
  
• Monitor and report supplier developments and aim at improvements where possible, contributing to our supply chain efficiency KPIS.
  
• Analyze internal and external needs and translate them into an optimal cost-culture-quality-delivery reliability supply chain fit.
  

• 
  BA/MSc or HBO Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Mechanical Engineering or relevant field.
  
• More than 5 years of experience in sourcing and product management, with 3+ years of experience in the high-tech industry ideally in an international/multi-cultural environment.
  
• In-depth understanding of the purchasing processes and industrial sourcing.
  
• Experienced negotiator, with affinity at maintaining long term relationships.
  
• Fluency in English. A basic level in Dutch would be considered an asset.
  
• An analytical thinker with an adaptive mindset. Comfortable with a dynamic environment requiring strategic thinking and decision making.
  
• A team player who can also work independently, with the ability to communicate well across cultures and backgrounds.
