About us
Thales Hengelo's Naval organization is built around six segments. This includes the Services Segment where all knowledge, experience and activities come together to provide all forms of product life cycle management for Thales-NL solution. Whether it concerns complex combat management systems or standalone radar systems, the Service segment has the capabilities to deliver customized Logistic and In-Service Support solutions to its customers. Within the Services segment, around 200 employees work day and night to continuously optimize the operational availability of our customers' systems.


About the team
As Team Manager Product Lifecycle Management & Service Delivery, you will provide direction, guidance and coaching to the Services project and product managers within the Services Segment. In doing so, you will then become part of a group of 15 professionals who are ready day and night to keep our products operational for our customers.


About your future job
Your Team Management role involves 2 interdependent roles.


As Team Manager Product Lifecycle Management, you take responsibility for developing a strategy and direction together with the product managers to keep our Legacy products, in line with the Thales strategy, operational at our customers. Resource, knowledge and obsolescence management are topics that require our daily attention.

As Team Manager Service Delivery, you will take responsibility towards our Customer Project Managers, Product Project Managers and Service Delivery Managers to deliver the Services (wrt products/solutions) we have contractually agreed. Your involvement starts all the way through the bid phase to ensure a smooth transition to the execution phase and delivery in time, quality and budget.
Besides the Team Management role, we also expect a contribution in project execution when the project complexity or situation demands it.

You have proven experience as leader (project/product) in a technical environment. As a Team Manager Product Lifecycle Management & Service Delivery you:

• Have relevant experience in management of (complex) products/projects
  
• Have the ability to overview complex situations and to manage multi-task environments
  
• Have excellent leadership skills
  
• Are strong in motivating and structuring members of all levels
  
• Excellent communication skills
  
• Good commercial skills
  
• Are fluent in English
  
• IPMA B certification, is a preference.
