About the role
In this position, you will be responsible for defining a long-term strategy for software development while ensuring a scalable, future-proof architecture. You’ll support your team in delivering high-quality software solutions that help our clients work more efficiently and improve the quality of care for children. You’ll also work closely with stakeholders to align technical goals with Kids Konnect’s broader business objectives.Responsibilities
Strategic Planning & Innovation

Develop and implement a forward-looking software development strategy.

Introduce new technologies and methodologies to further enhance our platform.

Advise the management team on the impact of emerging technologies.

Ensure a scalable and secure software architecture.

Monitor platform performance and reliability.

Review technical designs to maintain best practices in software development.

Improve processes, tools, and workflows for maximum efficiency.

Implement continuous integration, delivery, and quality control tools.

Strive to reduce bugs and technical issues within the platform.

Support and coach your team members in their professional growth.

Foster a collaborative, feedback-oriented culture.

Empower team members by promoting ownership of projects and autonomy.

Translate technical developments into clear, actionable information.

Collaborate across teams to align technical goals with company objectives.

Keep management updated on progress, challenges, and key initiatives.

Lead technical projects, ensuring quality and meeting deadlines.

Resolve critical technical issues promptly to maintain platform stability.

Drive key project initiatives, managing resources and timelines effectively.
Who are you?
You are an experienced and driven technical leader with a strong strategic vision and a passion for software development. Combining your technical expertise with an authentic, team-centered leadership style, you’re committed to nurturing and inspiring your team. In a dynamic environment, you skillfully balance operational goals with long-term innovation. You’re solution-oriented, communicate clearly, and can translate complex technology into understandable language for others.-
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field;

At least 7 years in software development, with a minimum of 2 years in a leadership role;

Expertise in multiple programming languages and Dev Ops principles;

Passion for coaching and developing teams;

Skilled at translating technical details for non-technical stakeholders;

Solution-oriented and strategic, with a focus on both short-term and long-term objectives;

Ability to handle changing priorities and adopt new technologies.
