Technology Specialist and strategic expert

Qualifications:
- Ph D in Microbiology, Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, Synthetic Biology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of post-Ph D experience in industrial biotechnology, with a focus on fermentation, strain engineering, and product development.
- An expert in strain engineering and sequencing, fermentation, process development, waste valorisation, risk management and mitigation
- Develop and implement advanced bioprocessing strategies and fermentation techniques
- Experience in providing technical expertise to support sales in commercialization of the product
- Strong understanding of IP management and experience with patent drafting and prosecution; keep up-to-date with the latest developments in relevant fields to identify potential IP opportunities.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and work effectively with individuals from various backgrounds and cultures with effective communication between cross-functional teams
- Strong English verbal and written communication skills
- Proactive, demonstrates ability to work independently and take initiative when needed
- Provides direction and concepts for technical microbiology and fermentation work in laboratory; demonstrated environments
- Works towards multiple product yield and process improvement strategies
- Troubleshoots process development and quality control protocols
- Contributes/leads in design/procurement of laboratory equipment, including but not limited to bioreactors, incubators, autoclaves, ovens; assist with qualifications and validations.
- Receives testing objectives, formulates activities to reach end goals, helps in performing data analysis
- Contributes in experimental design based on project objectives with limited input
- Leads in developing prototype equipment for process specifications
- Responsible for preparing documentation for subsidy project acquisition.
- Connects technical data with business requirements and development
- Other duties as assigned
