Thesis Assignment AO/IB - Business Control Framework - Tax Control Framwork
The objective of this assignment is to comprehensively update and document the Administrative Organization/Internal Control (AO/IB) framework in light of significant company growth and the implementation of a new ERP system. This involves detailing the processes from procurement to inventory management, sales, and financial settlement. The project aims to identify and mitigate business and tax risks, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and enhance process efficiency. By integrating these controls into the financial statements, the company seeks to maintain operational integrity and support sustainable growth
To be successful in this assignment you bring the following:
  • Process Analysis: Understanding and documenting business processes.
  • Risk Management: Identifying and mitigating business and tax risks.
  • ERP System Utilization: Leveraging ERP systems to support business processes.
  • Control Mechanisms: Implementing and managing controls such as segregation of duties, user controls, IT controls, and application controls.
  • Compliance Assurance: Ensuring adherence to tax regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Reporting: Generating and analyzing reports to monitor and control risks.
  • Financial Integration: Integrating process controls into financial statements.
  • Project Management: Coordinating and managing the project to update the AO/IB framework.
