About the role
This is a rare opportunity to kick start your legal career as you become involved in all aspects of our premium Corporate Commercial practice.
Working alongside Josh Williams, David Goodman and Ben Johnston, you will be exposed to a wide variety of interesting work, including a broad range of commercial contracts, M&A transactions, capital raisings, shareholder arrangements, corporate advisory and company law, financing and banking.
You will have the benefit of building close relationships across the firm, with our people who openly encourage a culture of shared knowledge and expertise, development and mentorship. You can be confident you will be given opportunities to grow and develop, with the support and guidance to be a successful Corporate Commercial lawyer.

What you will bring
To be successful you will have great levels of self-awareness and interpersonal skills and can build strong, influential relationships based on trust.
You may have already completed university, or you will finish by March 2025. You will have a strong academic background, with good technical skills and a passion for Corporate Commercial Law, as well as a genuine interest in living and working in Christchurch.
