Deckhand-Trawler Vessel -Whitianga Based for our client The Tuna Company Ltd
A number of full time position have become available for experienced Fisheries Deck Hands to serve on a medium sized long line vessel for a 12 month period.
Normal deckhand duties, also include handling and unloading the catch, cleaning duties .
You will be out at sea for up to 15 days .
We would like you to have at least 6 months fisheries deckhand experience for this job or the New Zealand Advanced Deckhand Fishing ( ADH-F ) qualification .
Remuneration will based on experience and qualifications on the traditional % of catch share system with a base rate of $29.15 per hour .
You need to be fit as there is some lifting involved of fish crates .
