About the opportunity | Mō tēnei tūranga

Reporting to the GM Data & Analytics this role will see you drive Fonterra’s data strategy and lead a cultural transformation that unifies teams, establishes value streams, and standardises processes. In addition to this you will:

Define and implement the SODA (strategy, optimisation, data, analytics) function, ensuring alignment with Fonterra’s broader objectives.
Enhance stakeholder engagement by building strong partnerships and establishing clear communication channels across business units.
Lead data product management and commercialisation efforts, integrating AI solutions to deliver impactful and sustainable data outcomes.
Oversee performance measurement, ensuring goals are met through data-driven insights and consistent monitoring of key performance indicators (KPIs).

About you | Mōu

We are looking for a visionary and experienced leader to join our Data Strategy & Governance team. You will have a strong understanding of analytics from both a technical and business perspective and understands how a data and analytics team should operate to capture and deliver value to the business. In addition to this you will have:

Experience in defining and implementing data strategy, with a proven ability to lead cultural transformations and establish value stream teams.
Demonstrated excellence in stakeholder engagement and performance measurement, with strong communication skills and a collaborative approach.
Experience in data operations and AI, including experience in designing data operating models and commercialising data products.
Strong leadership skills, with the ability to set team goals, monitor KPIs, and drive results in alignment with Fonterra’s strategic vision.
