About the Role | Mō te Tūranga
As the Senior Marketing Manager for Brand Content & Social, you'll:

Inspire and engage: Develop captivating content that not only strengthens our brand but also fosters a loyal community of advocates.

Be a strategic visionary: Own and drive our social media strategy, leveraging both organic and paid channels to maximise reach and impact.

Empower and lead: Guide a talented team of content specialists, nurturing and growing their skills and fostering a collaborative, high-performing environment.

Strategic Leadership: You possess a proven ability to translate brand strategies into actionable content plans that deliver measurable results.

About You | Mōu
You will bring in-depth knowledge of social media platforms, algorithms, user behaviour, and community engagement strategies to lead the Brand Content & Social team and make a significant contribution to Woolworths New Zealand's brand and digital presence.
You will also bring in:

Deep understanding of content formats (written, visual, audio) and their effective application across different channels.

Strong leadership and communication skills to manage a team, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and maintain stakeholder relationships.
-
Experience in brand building and developing successful campaigns across multiple channels.
-
Proven track record in creating and implementing effective content and social media strategies that drive measurable results.
-
Proficiency in using analytics tools to measure content and social media performance.
-
Experience in leading and developing high-performing content and social media teams.
-
Grocery retail or CPG experience is a plus, but not mandatory.
-
A bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field (preferred).
