Business Development Executive

Our client is a service company established to deliver world-class products, services and solutions to oil and gas companies with operating companies, incorporated in Nigeria and incorporated in the UK together offer world-class solutions to oil and gas companies through our in-house team, a strong network of OEMs and technical partnerships with renowned international organisations. Our client is looking for a Business Development Executive for the Nigerian Business.
Key Responsibilities and Experience:
  • You will already have experience in a business development role and have the confidence and gravitas to interact with prospects on the phone and in person.
  • You’ll be responsible for the day-to-day management of customer accounts and business development opportunities and managing the leads database and action plan plus producing tender responses and liaising with suppliers.
  • You will be expected to maintain frequent face-to-face contact with the customer representatives who most directly influence buying decisions. Actively listen, probe, identify and address concerns. Understand the customer's business and speak their language. Develop credibility, loyalty, trust and win-win-win relationships.

Responsibilities
Reporting directly to the MD, your main responsibilities will be:
Lead generation and development – identifying, qualifying and developing new opportunities
Building and maintaining the leads database
Building and maintaining relationships with prospective and existing customers
Building and maintaining relationships with industry bodies and regulators
Researching key industry events, tracking delegate lists and developing lead generation plan
Identify and generate new OEM and technical partner relationships and agency agreements
Managing regulatory permits and licence acquisition and renewals
Managing RFQ and ITT tender responses
Developing new and valuable supplier channels

Experience/Education
+3 years’ experience in the oil industry preferred
BSc. Degree at Second Class Upper or better
