JOB TITLE: Business Development Officer
LOCATION: Ikoyi, Lagos
ABOUT CLIENT: The Future Edge is a global consulting and business support solution company. We are seeking ‘Business Development Officer’ for our client; a leading Interior design and Installation Services company in Nigeria.
JOB ROLE: We are looking for an ambitious and energetic Business Development Officer to drive business growth and expand our clientele base. You will be the business driver of the company and will have the dedication to create, leverage and apply effective sales strategies to ensure business growth.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES / SKILLS:
· Develop growth strategy focused both on driving financial gain and customer satisfaction for the company
· Conduct market research to identify new markets and customer needs and work towards meeting them
· Arrange business meetings with prospective clients; make pitches and presentation before prospects.
· Promote the company’s products/services addressing client’s need and predicting clients’ objectives.
· Effectively carry out competitor analysis and industry benchmark and proffer alternative strategies.
· Negotiate deals and prepare sales contract, ensuring adherence to rules, policy and company guidelines.
· Prospect and generate leads, nurture and convert leads to loyal customers through relationship building.
· Keep records of sales, revenue, invoices and recommend payment plans for new and existing clients.
· Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support, building long-term relationships with all customers
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
· BSC/BA in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales or other relevant field.
· At least 3 years proven working experience as a business development manager, sales executive or a relevant role within the real estate sector, interior design or manufacturing, or other related space.
· Proven sales track record and ability to generate leads, close deals and build sustainable relationships.
· Rich database of leads, prospects and high net worth individuals.
· Experience in customer support, proficiency in MS Office and CRM software (e.g. Sales force)
· Market knowledge, good communication and negotiation skills and ability to build rapport.
REMUNERATION: N100, 000 expense allowance and juicy commission on each deal closed
