We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development/Sales Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving business growth, identifying new sales opportunities, and building strong relationships with existing and potential clients.

- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet or exceed the company's sales targets and objectives.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the oil and gas and construction industries.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, understanding their needs and offering tailored solutions.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and potential areas for business expansion.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials, presentations, and sales collateral.
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to network and generate leads.
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations to key stakeholders, highlighting the company's capabilities and value proposition.
- Utilize Quick Books to manage sales transactions, invoices, and financial records accurately and efficiently.
- Negotiate contracts and terms of agreements with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial outcomes.
- Collaborate with the operations team to ensure seamless execution of projects and customer satisfaction.
- Provide regular sales reports, forecasts, and updates to the management team.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven track record of success in business development and sales, preferably within the oil and gas or construction industries.
- In-depth knowledge of the industry, including market trends, competitors, and key stakeholders.
- Strong networking and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in Quick Books for managing sales transactions, invoices, and financial records.
- Proximity to VGC (Victoria Garden City) in Lagos, Nigeria.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, taking initiative and driving results.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
- Willingness to travel as required.
