As our Business Development Manager, you will be at the forefront of our growth strategy, spearheading sales initiatives aimed at enterprise clients in the Energy and Capital Goods sectors. In this pivotal role, you will serve as the face of Xait, engaging closely with clients and collaborating with internal teams to provide tailored solutions that meet their unique needs. Your mission is to oversee the entire sales journey, from identifying and qualifying opportunities to successfully closing deals. With a focus on building lasting relationships and driving strategic growth, you will play a critical role in positioning Xait as a leader in the market. You have experience with and find yourself thriving when working on the following and similar activities;

Lead Generation & Pipeline Management: Drive proactive outreach by managing inquiries and identifying potential prospects through a variety of channels, including cold calling, cold emailing, social media engagement, and participation in conferences and trade shows. Build and nurture a robust pipeline of opportunities.

Collaborative Campaign Development: Work closely with Marketing & Communication teams to design and execute effective sales and marketing campaigns. Contribute to lead generation and the creation of compelling marketing materials that enhance the overall sales journey.

Prospect Qualification: Assess and qualify potential leads according to established criteria, ensuring a focused approach to nurturing high-value opportunities.

CRM Proficiency: Leverage Salesforce CRM, Hub Spot, and other designated software to ensure meticulous pipeline management and maximize deal conversion rates. Transform records into actionable insights that drive results.

Seamless Customer Transition: Gather and document all pertinent information in the CRM and collaborate with the Customer Success Manager and our dedicated Service & Delivery team to ensure a smooth handover, delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Relationship Building: Initiate and cultivate strong relationships with key contacts and organizations, effectively converting opportunities into successful orders.

Impactful Presentations: Confidently pitch and present Xait Porter to senior managers, directors, business leaders, and other decision-makers, showcasing its value and aligning with their needs.

Cross-Functional Engagement: Collaborate with internal stakeholders and resources to ensure leads and opportunities are advanced efficiently through the sales pipeline.

Market Insight & Adaptability: Stay attuned to shifting market dynamics, providing valuable insights and identifying potential bottlenecks to management for strategic adjustments.

Professionalism & Integrity: Conduct all sales activities with the utmost professionalism and integrity, serving as a positive representative of the company.
- Global Mobility: Willingness to travel globally as needed to engage with clients and pursue business opportunities.
Required Qualifications

B2B Sales Experience: 3+ years of experience selling complex solutions or products to high-value customers, demonstrating a strong understanding of the B2B sales landscape.

Territory Expansion: Proven track record of expanding territory and developing business relationships, with a history of rapidly increasing sales revenues.

Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in business, technology, or a related field; or other relevant higher education and/or certification.

Sales Tools Proficiency: Experience utilizing CRM systems and other sales enablement tools to manage the full sales cycle effectively.
Preferred Qualifications

Advanced Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business or a relevant industrial vertical.

Direct Sales Expertise: 3+ years of direct sales experience, particularly in navigating complex sales processes.

Saa S & Industry Sales Background: Experience selling and supporting Saa S solutions, or Industry Vertical Products & Solutions, to high-value customers.

Software Familiarity: Experience with Xait Porter or other software supporting commercial organization's efficiency

Industry Network: A broad network within the energy industry, providing valuable connections and insights to drive business development.
