The programme
The programme lasts for 2-years and includes rotations of 3-12 months across functions, business areas.

The position
By joining our teams in Project development or Operation and Maintenance you will have the opportunity to:
  • Work within turbomachinery, static mechanical equipment, piping engineering, piping layout, high-pressure valves, heat ventilation & air conditioning (HVAC)
  • Contribute to Equinor’s transition to a broad energy company utilizing latest mechanical technology solutions for low carbon solutions, hydrogen, carbon capture and storage, and oil and gas projects.
  • Participate in oil & gas and low carbon projects in Norway and internationally in all phases of the projects from early planning through engineering, construction and start-up
  • Technical follow-up of design and procurement of mechanical equipment
  • Contribute to development of best practice, technical requirements and work processes
  • Technical support related to operation, maintenance and modification of our installations offshore and onshore plants
  • Develop new technology in collaboration with contractors and suppliers and implement the technology in new and operating plants.
You
For this position we are looking for those with:
  • Master’s degree or Ph D with good academic record within Mechanical engineering
  • Completed degree within year of starting (2025)
  • Fluent in English
  • No more than than two years of experience
  • Formal experience is not a requirement
  • Extracurricular activities and/or voluntary work is an advantage
