The position
PDP Procurement Supplier Relations (PSR) is seeking highly motivated recent graduates to join our team who are equally driven as they are ready to accelerate digitalization and the energy transition.As a Supply Chain Management Graduate, you can expect to collaborate with some of the 750 colleagues spread across Norway and our international offices. Together, we will contribute to safe and efficient supply of goods and services to all Equinor’s operations and development projects globally, execute global category management activities ranging from strategy to contract management, and be accountable for driving the strategic agenda and new ways of working. Through your various rotations you will understand how Equinor works with our suppliers and the vital role supply chain plays in supporting business needs across the company meanwhile ensuring compliance.
As a graduate in PSR, you will take on tasks alongside your rotations for broad PSR exposure and enhance your development by exploiting the available opportunities that await you. You will become a valuable member of our graduate community and collaborate with teams across Equinor’s value chain. The PSR organization consists of six business units covering strategic and operational activities in the Supply Chain Management areas:
- Drilling, Well & Intervention
- Subsea Engineering, Renewables & Construction
- Operations
- Corporate Support
- Compliance, Improvement & Analysis
- Supply Chain Management Competence Centre
Typical work tasks:
- Contract establishment and contract management
- Supplier Relations Management
- Supplier Market Analysis
- Digital portfolio -drive digitalization
- Data Quality & Analytics, Simplification, and Improvement Initiatives
- Purchasing and Expediting
- Logistics management
- Warehouse management
- Material Management
The SCM graduate program will consist of four rotations with a duration of approximately six- eight months each. This may vary based on business needs. Each year is divided into two rotations.
During the first rotation in year 1, you will gain vital PSR experience and knowledge from working with Operational procurement and/or Operational Supply Chain Upstream activities. For year 2, the rotations will primarily be within Strategical and Tactical procurement. In total, three out of four rotations are pre-defined at start date, focusing on building a solid foundation to become the next generation supply chain management contract lead. The graduates will have more influence on one of the rotations based on interests and preferences. We encourage rotations to other areas of the company to broaden your perspective and enrich your learning journey.
You
For this position we are looking for those with:- Master’s degree or Ph D with good academic record within Economics, Business Management, Industrial economics, Logistics and Supply Chain, Law, and Engineering.
- Completed degree within year of starting (2025)
- Fluent in English
- No more than than two years of experience
- Formal experience is not a requirement
- Extracurricular activities and/or voluntary work is an advantage
- An awareness of risk and a commitment to safety for yourself and those around you.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to facilitate collaboration, influence stakeholders, and contribute to a diverse and inclusive culture.
- Motivation to be a key contributor in the energy transition. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to solve complex problems with creativity and innovation, in order to deliver on strategy.
- Is curious and strives to learn, develop, and grow their skills and competencies as their environment changes. Take ownership of and seek out learning opportunities and constructive feedback.
