The position

By joining our team in Subsurface: Geosciences, Information technology & Digitalisation you will have the opportunity to ensure that Equinor finds, matures, and manages its energy resources in a profitable, competitive, safe and energy efficient manner. As a data scientist or data manager in the subsurface network, you will work and deliver within a multidisciplinary team and build your competence together with your colleagues across traditional O&G and new energy areas (Carbon Storage,Wind). You will have the opportunity to work with a variety of projects developing your digital and data knowledge and integrate with other key subsurface disciplines. Subsurface resources will also contribute to Technology development and implementation projects.
It is an exciting time in our Industry where science and technology are driven by curious people. You

For this position we are looking for those with:

• Master’s degree or Ph D with good academic record within Geosciences, Information Technology and Digitilisation, Information and Data Management
• Completed degree within year of starting (2025)
• Fluent in English
• No more than than two years of experience
• Formal experience is not a requirement
• Extracurricular activities and/or voluntary work is an advantage
