The programme lasts for 2-years and includes rotations of 3-12 months across functions, business areas.

The position
By joining our team in Subsurface: Geosciences you will have the opportunity to:- Analysing geological and geophysical data to identify potential hydrocarbon reservoirs.
- Evaluating the viability of identified reservoirs and contributing to prospect evaluation and maturation.
- Assisting in well planning activities and participating in geo-operations.
- Conducting reservoir characterization and evaluation to optimize production strategies.
- Building competence in petroleum systems analysis to understand the geologic processes involved in hydrocarbon formation and migration.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop geomodels that accurately represent subsurface reservoirs.
- Contributing to technology development and implementation within research departments, exploring innovative approaches and advanced technologies for subsurface analysis and modelling.
We are seeking graduates who are passionate about the earth sciences and have a strong foundation in geology, geophysics, or petrophysics. Your analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and ability to work collaboratively within diverse teams will be essential. You'll have the opportunity to continuously learn and expand your knowledge in a dynamic and supportive environment.

For this position we are looking for those with:- Master’s degree or Ph D with good academic record within Geosciences/Earth Sciences (primarily Geology, Geophysics, Petrophysics and other Natural Sciences) as well as other scientific disciplines of University study including Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, etc.
- Completed degree within year of starting (2025)
- Fluent in English
- No more than than two years of experience
- Formal experience is not a requirement
- Extracurricular activities and/or voluntary work is an advantage
- An awareness of risk and a commitment to safety for yourself and those around you.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to facilitate collaboration, influence stakeholders, and contribute to a diverse and inclusive culture.
- Motivation to be a key contributor in the energy transition. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to solve complex problems with creativity and innovation, in order to deliver on strategy.
- Is curious and strives to learn, develop, and grow their skills and competencies as their environment changes. Take ownership of and seek out learning opportunities and constructive feedback.
