We’re looking for a hands-on IT Operations Manager to build out and manage our internal IT infrastructure, day-to-day operations, and security initiatives. In this role, you’ll manage the technology that powers our business, keeping it efficient, secure, and in alignment with our goals. This position combines day-to-day operations and strategic planning with practical leadership, emphasizing IT performance and cybersecurity. You’ll get to work alongside our fantastic sys admin, making a great team to drive our IT operations forward.
Your responsibilities will include:

• Develop and implement Promon's internal IT and cybersecurity strategies to align with business goals and ensure protection against threats.
• Directly oversee IT infrastructure, including cloud platforms, networks, and business applications, to maintain stability, scalability, and peak performance.
• Handle vendor relationships and closely manage IT and security budgets to ensure solutions are both cost-effective and scalable.
• Lead incident response efforts and coordinate disaster recovery plans, conducting regular risk assessments within the ISMS framework.
• Track and manage IT inventory and assets, optimizing their usage, coordinating maintenance, and ensuring secure disposal.
• Work closely with various departments to support and lead projects, such as streamlining procurement processes and helping to establish AI guidelines.

Preferred Skills and Experiences:

• The ideal candidate must have prior experience in establishing, building and leading internal IT infrastructure, with demonstrated success in creating scalable, secure systems that effectively align with business objectives.
• Solid experience in IT management, with at least a few years in an information security role.
• Experience leading and inspiring teams, formally or informally.
• Deep understanding of IT infrastructure (cloud, network, servers) as well as cybersecurity best practices.
  
• Strong knowledge of security regulations and compliance frameworks.
  
• Working understanding of AI, with knowledge of its applications, ethical considerations, and how it can be leveraged to improve IT infrastructure and operational efficiency.
• Experience managing incident response, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning.
  
• Skilled in vendor management, budget control, and contract negotiation for IT and security solutions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

Where you'll work:
Our office in Vika, Oslo is a hub for collaboration, featuring inviting communal spaces that encourage interaction and idea sharing. While we provide flexibility, we require a physical presence in our office minimally 3 days a week.
