We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer!

At Technip FMC MPM we are developing, manufacturing, and delivering state of the art multiphase and wetgas flow meters for the global energy industry. The flowmeters are operating worldwide, under challenging conditions both subsea and topside, and are measuring the most valuable asset for the oil and gas companies. We are looking for a candidate to be part of the MPM team in the Controls and Automation group
Job Description
As a Senior Mechanical Engineer at Technip FMC MPM, you will play a dynamic role in our Controls and Automation group, dedicated to the development, manufacturing, and delivery of advanced multiphase and wet gas flow meters for the global energy industry. In this position, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals and contribute to cutting-edge projects that address challenging Subsea and Topside operating conditions. Your primary focus will be supporting or leading diverse projects and engineering assignments, while gaining valuable experience in a product-oriented engineering environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead or contribute to engineering projects from configuration to delivery, driving innovation and continuous improvement of product design and processes.
  • Oversee mechanical engineering activities, including design reviews, pressure testing, and technical advice within assigned projects.
  • Ensure the alignment of design specifications with production capabilities and quality requirements.
  • Drive the enhancement of work processes, emphasizing material selection, welding techniques, and NDT of mechanical components.
  • Document and manage detailed technical process and quality documentation crucial for project and regulatory compliance.
  • Engage in continuous learning and professional development opportunities.
  • Embrace a proactive and positive approach to problem-solving.
  • Review technical documentation of parts/assemblies and utilize CAD tools to ensure mechanical designs comply with project specifications.

You are meant for this job if:
  • Hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Have 5+ years of work experience in mechanical engineering, preferably within subsea and/or topside applications.
  • Possess a strong background in reviewing and improving technical processes and quality documentation.
  • Have proven experience in leading or contributing to delivery, repair, and qualification projects.
  • Can provide technical advice in areas such as materials engineering, welding processes, and Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) of mechanical components.
  • Are familiar with CAD software for evaluating mechanical components.
  • Understand manufacturing processes and their impact on design.
  • Are familiar with stress analysis tools for mechanical components (advantageous but not required).
  • Have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a willingness to learn and adapt.
  • Exhibit strong communication skills, a team-oriented mindset, and are collaborative and open to feedback.
  • Are proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering high-quality work within tight deadlines.
  • Are ready to tackle complex engineering challenges in a dynamic environment.
