EXPORT DOCUMENTATION OFFICER

We are currently seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Export documentation officer to join our team. This role involves ensuring efficient shipment planning, timely communication with carriers and shippers, and meticulous handling of shipping documentation. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and proficiency in operating relevant shipping software.
Responsibilities:
- Follow up with the customer service team to receive shipment planning in advance and ensure meeting carrier deadlines.
- Strong follow-up with shippers/Exporters to gather all necessary details in advance to fulfill carrier requirements.
- Submit shipping instructions to Carrier/Co-Loaders via Online Carrier Web Portal or through email.
- Follow up to receive MBL drafts from shipping carriers/co-loaders.
- Send Pre-Alerts/Manifest to multiple overseas Agents within specified time frames.
- Verify and ensure accuracy of HBL/MBL details as per shipper's requirements.
- Track VGM filing at carrier’s online portal.
- Follow up with courier services (TCS for inland, DHL for overseas) to receive invoices and ensure timely payments.
- Track dispatch of documents for local customers and overseas agents, with email notifications.
- Coordinate with team members regarding invoicing, applicable charges, and HBL creation/update as per shipper’s request.
- Track outstanding payments and follow up per management guidance.
- Ensure timely vessel-to-vessel file processing.
- Proficient in operating Climax software.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

- Bachelor’s degree.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From Rs40,000.00 per month
