We are seeking an experienced Finance Lead for one of our subsidiaries, ACE Money Transfer Limited Ireland (AMTL), to join ACE Groups’ dynamic Finance Team.
As Finance Lead you will play a key role in Financial, Statutory and Regulatory Reporting for AMTL. The position is based in Kharian, Pakistan and will report to the CFO (PCF11 – Head of Finance) of AMTL who is based in Dublin, Ireland, with a dotted reporting to the Unit Head of Accounts and Finance of AMTL’s UK parent company.
A key responsibility of the role will be to ensure compliance with financial regulations in the fast-paced fintech industry. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in financial management (or equivalent qualification).
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate and timely monthly management accounts for AMTL, including Income Statements, Balance Sheets and Cash Flow statements.
- Assist the CFO in developing Monthly and Quarterly Reporting Packs to provide detailed data on AMTL’s financial performance.
- Ensure compliance with FRS102 (Irish & UK) financial reporting standards and regulations.
- In collaboration with the CFO, develop and manage the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) process to support strategic decision making.
- Assist in the management of cash flow, liquidity, and working capital to support the company's growth and expansion plans.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations including reporting, auditing, regulatory and tax requirements.
- Implement and maintain effective internal controls to mitigate financial risks.
- Coordinate and manage the annual statutory audit, working closely with external auditors to provide requested data.
- Implement audit recommendations as accepted by AMTL Management.
- Assist the CFO in the Regulatory Reporting requirements of the Central Bank of Ireland.
- Ensure the implementation of appropriate accounting and finance policies.
- Ensure the implementation of AMTL’s Financial Risk Management Framework.
- Ensure the implementation of, and adherence to, AMTL’s Safeguarding processes and controls for customer monies.
- Assist the CFO in, and provide valuable input to, ongoing financial process improvements.
- Collaborate as required with the ACE Group Finance team in Kharian, Pakistan.
- Any other tasks as may be assigned from time to time.
- Professional accountancy qualification (ACCA, ICAP CA (minimum of CAF and CFAP stage cleared), or equivalent).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial management (or equivalent qualification), with a strong background in fintech or digital payments.
- In-depth knowledge of FRS102 or IFRS reporting standards.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
- Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems.
- Technical literacy on digital financial services.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Strong understanding of the regulatory and legal environment in which AMTL operates, including AML, GDPR, Anti-Corruption & Fraud and Cyber Risk legislation will be beneficial.
- Understanding of client money safeguarding principals will be preferred.
