Role Overview:
The HIMS Implementation Officer will play a crucial role in deploying and managing our Health Information Management System (HIMS). This individual will be responsible for ensuring that the system is effectively integrated across all departments, enhancing the efficiency and quality of our healthcare services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in health informatics, excellent project management skills, and a passion for leveraging technology to improve patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the implementation and integration of the HIMS for various clients of Camden Health System.
- Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams of client to identify system requirements.
- Provide training and support to staff on the effective use of the HIMS.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot any issues to ensure smooth operations.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including system configurations, user manuals, and training materials.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the functionality and user experience of the HIMS.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Health Informatics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in implementing and managing Health Information Management Systems in a healthcare setting.
- Strong understanding of healthcare workflows and processes.
- Proficient in project management methodologies and tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
