Job Summary: We are looking for a diligent and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Officer to join our team at Crumble. This role primarily involves maintaining and improving quality standards across our production units and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. The QA Officer will conduct regular visits to our three branches, production unit and call center, carry out quality checks, and prepare comprehensive weekly and monthly reports. Additionally, the QA Officer will provide support to the HR department in its daily activities, although this will be a minor part of the role.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Quality Assurance and Compliance:
Conduct weekly visits to all three branches, production and the call center to perform quality checks related to hygiene, production processes, equipment maintenance, and staff adherence to quality standards.
Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols to ensure all products meet the company's quality and safety standards.
Monitor compliance with health and safety regulations and standards as required by food safety authorities.
Identify any non-compliance issues and provide recommendations for corrective actions.
2. Quality Control Documentation:
Prepare detailed weekly quality assurance reports based on observations, data analysis, and identified issues.
Compile monthly reports to provide an overview of quality control activities and improvements.
Maintain proper documentation for audits, inspections, and quality checks.
3. Training and Development:
Assist in developing training materials and sessions for staff on quality control, hygiene standards, and best practices.
Conduct periodic workshops to keep employees updated on new quality control standards and procedures.
4. Collaboration with Production and HR Teams:
Work closely with the Production Supervisors to ensure any quality issues are addressed promptly and effectively.
Collaborate with the HR department to assist with minor HR activities, such as participating in recruitment drives for production roles, performance evaluations, and policy reviews.
5. Continuous Improvement:
Identify opportunities for process improvement to enhance product quality and production efficiency.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and standards in food safety and quality assurance.
Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Food Science and Technology, Nutrition and Dietetics, BBA/MBA Operations Management, or related fields.
• Experience: 6 months to 2 years of experience in quality assurance or quality control roles, preferably in the food industry.
• Knowledge of HACCP, ISO 22000, or other relevant quality management systems is a plus.
• Strong understanding of food safety regulations and standards.
• Excellent attention to detail, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in using MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point) for reporting purposes.
