Job Purpose
The purpose of this job is to supervise the packaging operations of Tablets department so the products are delivered and supplied in full and on time to the patients at the end of supply chain.

Education, Experience & Skills

• Pharm- D / Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  
• 2 to 3 years relevant experience
  

Key Responsibilities

Ensure strong compliance in Quality, EHS, Legal and other critical parts of the business related to the area responsibilities
Drive performance to improve quality and EHS standards in the area responsibility, in accordance with GSK’s strategic objectives and with applicable law.
Drive a culture of transparency and total disclosure. Supervise third party service providers in accordance with GSK requirements.

Production:

• To make and agree daily/weekly/monthly production plan for Tablets SKUs
  
• To supervise inspection & packaging operations of Tabletsto achieve the production plan on time
  
• Maximum utilization of resources for delivery of quality products and to improve KPIs
  
• Labour allocation
  
• Update respective performance boards
  

GPS:

• Effectively implement GPS within the area of responsibility in Packaging department
  
• Monitor department OPEX and ensure consumables and overtime within target
  

OE:

• Embed OE culture within the area of responsibility in packaging department.
  
• Identify, develop and implement improvement/Operational Excellence (OE) projects to generate cost savings (Strategy Deployment).
  

RCA:

• Involve in investigations into incidents and ensure root cause is identified.
  
• Implement appropriate corrective and preventive actions are implemented.
  

DMERP:

• To ensure DMERP packaging data postings
  

TRAINING:

• Provide training on SOP and OJT to employees working in Tablets area
  
• Prepare and maintain L2 curricula
  
• Maintain employees training record
  

QUALITY COMPLIANCE:

• Ensure right first time performance
  
• Maintain the department in ‘Inspection Ready’ state all the time
  
• Raise deviation as needed
  
• Originate Change controls where required.
  
• Make sure 100% SOPs are In-place In-use in Ampoule & Eye drops Packaging
  
• Conduct L1 inspection against approved schedule
  
• Prepare CAPA and monitor the timely closures of observations related to LI, L2, L3 & L4.
  
• Support the team in L2, L3 & L4 audits.
  

EHS:

• Conducting EHS general Risk assessment, Ergonomics Risk assesssment & CRAs.
  
• Ensure the embedding of living safety culture with in the department.
  
• Ensure EHS standards compliance by conducting EHS L1 audit, record observations, prepare CAPA and monitor timely closures.
  
• Ensure LOTO application in Packaging area machines
  

DATA INTEGRITY:

• Ensure data integrity compliance and improve DI controls (ALCOA + principles) in Tablets department.
