Responsibilities

Responsible for greeting students and other visitors to the Chapman Center.
Responsible for answering the Chapman Center phone and providing support to students and other callers including scheduling, changing, and cancelling student advising and student success appointments, assisting in student enrollment campaigns & making calls to appropriate outside departments.
Responsible for assisting Chapman Staff with monitoring and ordering of office supplies and other materials necessary to support the operations of the Chapman Center.
Assists advising and student success staff and Chapman Center Director in the development and organization of materials to support student success and advising initiatives.
Assists office staff in supporting the operations of the center. Including answering phones, managing appointments and associated documents, attending team meetings, greeting students and other visitors, and answering general questions regarding services offered in the center.

Qualifications

Associate’s degree or equivalent or High School Diploma and 2 years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in administrative and/or office environments.
Commitment to professionalism and organization.
A friendly team member who has a focus on student success.

Considerations

This is a Part-time OPS/temporary job
Based on the duties, this position may require completion of a criminal history background check.
The position will begin in Fall 2024 and is located on-site at FSU Panama City in Panama City, FL.
Schedule is 08:00 AM - 1:00 PM Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday & 08:00 AM - 02:30 PM on Tuesdays.
