A DAY IN THE LIFE
In the Maintenance Tech position, you will be responsible for a wide variety of activities such as basic repairs and cleaning to ensure that our homes are ready for renting at any time. Being reliable and self-motivated with a keen eye for detail is essential in this job.
Duties and Responsibilities

Perform minor fixes, such as repairing/replacing broken locks, damage to walls, paint, etc.
Help install appliances and/or equipment as needed
Maintain fleet vehicle to ensure the vehicles have appropriate insurance information, license tags, regular maintenance/cleanliness is completed and working tracking devices
Inspect buildings, equipment, and appliances for functionality, report to supervisor any issues
Help maintain grounds and upkeep yard by blowing off driveways, collecting trash, etc. and reporting any concerns to supervisor
Complete regular maintenance tasks, such as replacing light bulbs, painting, and minor sheet rock repair
Ensure that properties are safe and void of any danger to their occupants, visitors, and workers
Escalate suggestions to management of ideas/plans for preventative maintenance to help avoid problems in the future.
Create and enforce safety policies with our buildings and assist on job sites.
Assist the maintenance department to maintain maintenance logs for all vehicles, notify employees and management when necessary, maintenance is requested and ensure the vehicle records are updated.
When required, connect basic appliances. For example: refrigerators, washers, dryers, etc.
Remove and/or place products in homes without damaging the property.
Transport products to houses.
Assist as needed, receiving incoming shipments to warehouse, organize and verify damages, if any.
Organize and load delivery trucks for safe transport.
Organize and inventory items for easy access.
Assist warehouse as needed with incoming shipments to warehouse, organize and verify damages, if any.
Attend training and perform other duties as assigned by management

Work Days
We are open 7 days per week and have rotating days off - must be available to work weekends. Must have flexibility to work holidays and after hours when required.

Available to work on-call rotation.
Willing to work overtime when the situation arises.

Qualifications/ Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Knowledge of basic plumbing and electrical is preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
General passion for creative problem-solving
Valid driver's license
Must have dependability
Attention to detail
Comfortable in a fast-paced environment handling multiple priorities

Physical Requirements

Must be able to climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, stand, walk, push, pull, lift, grasp, twist, and bend for extended periods of time.
Lift and carry material weighing up to 75 lbs; occasionally lifting items weighing more than 100 lbs with assistance.
Ability to climb and utilize a ladder safely.
Good physical fitness; hand-eye coordination and ability to quickly respond to sounds.
Ability to physically install interior projects with other team members.
Must be able to work indoors and outdoors, including outdoors in times of excessive heat and inclement weather
