We are seeking an experienced Manager of Med-Surg RN to lead and support our dynamic Med-Surg team. Located in a remodeled, 238-bed acute care facility, this role is perfect for a dedicated professional eager to make a meaningful impact within a well-engaged team. Our hospital, the only delivery facility in Bay County, also provides leading-edge stroke care, certified women's services, and the region’s only Level III NICU and PICU.
Position Highlights:

• Oversight: Supervise a 42-bed Med-Surg unit and lead a team of 57 full-time employees, including Clinical Nurse Coordinators, RNs, LPNs, and Patient Care Techs.
• Clinical Leadership: Utilize advanced clinical skills to enhance patient care quality and operational efficiency.
• Team Management: Lead staff with strong interpersonal and organizational skills, ensuring effective use of resources and adherence to policies.
• Quality Improvement: Champion patient safety, utilize evidence-based practices, and collaborate on quality improvement initiatives.
• Patient Advocacy: Act as an advocate for patient rights, privacy, and high-quality care through every interaction.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 2-3 years of recent acute care RN leadership experience at the Supervisor/Manager level in an adult inpatient setting. Note: Travel nurse experience not applicable.
• Education: Associate’s Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred.
• Licenses/Certifications: Current RN license (Florida or Compact) and BCLS within 30 days of employment.
