Job Descriptions:
1. Files, safeguards, and accounts in numerical order all cost accounting documents pertaining to raw materials such as Material Issue Slip (MIS), Material Return Slip (MRS), Finished Goods Receipts (FGR), and Scrap Tickets/Disposal Reports. Any missing documents must be followed up from the person in charge in the production department
2. Accurately computes production cost for each FGR and counterchecks double issuance of materials based on percentage of composition analysis report. Submit entry on production cost due 3rd Tuesday after cut-off (JV008A).
3. Witnesses monthly inventory taking of work in process, accurately costs each item counted, compares quantity counted against quantity balances in each uncompleted job orders and calculates and books WIP losses based on monthly physical count and WIP stock cards balances.
4. Prepares monthly report on Raw Materials and Supplies inventory listings, production reports, and solvent and toluene recovery reports (due 3rd week after cut-off)
5. Prepares monthly journal entries on production costs, packaging Materials, solvent and bunker oil consumption, samples, Disposal Reports and rejected manufactured products (JV 008A,008B,008C,008E) due 3rd Tuesday after cut-off.
6. Reconciles, substantiates, cleans up, adjusts, and corrects the following general ledger accounts
a) Raw Materials on Hand
b) Work in Process
c) Supplies Inventory
7. Maintains and updates schedules such as the following:
a) Sales and cost of sales by major product line and styles (due 3rd Friday after cut-off).
b) Summary list of sales (for BIR) – to be submitted together with quarterly VAT payment.
8. Prepares semi-annual Asbestos Summary Report for submission to DENR.
9. Prepares Debit Memos and files received copies with supporting documents.
10. Report any discrepancy/irregularities on assigned job using Discrepancy Report Form
11. Comply with all company rules and regulations and Quality Manual.
12. Performs other duties and responsibilities as may be required by the Finance Manager.
