Buyer for Non Trade

Human Nature is looking for a Buyer who will coordinate, negotiate and purchase non-trade requirements requested by the different departments in GKI.
Main Responsibilities:
- Ensures that the purchasing guidelines are followed.
- Must be able to demonstrate attention/discipline to detail and strict adherence to timelines
- With strong negotiations skills and experience grounded on a solid understanding of supplier's and our company's businesses.
- Knowledgeable in supplier relationship management and development.
- Continuously seeks to improve material cost
- Ensures suppliers compliance to GKI material standards and specifications.
- Will be responsible for overall supplier performance for Delivery, Quality, Cost and Responsiveness
- Will be responsible for the analysis and monitoring of material availability along the supply and production plans.
- Works collaboratively with the rest of Supply Chain and Marketing to achieve optimum material inventory
- Maintains an updated purchasing database; is a steward of SOPs
- Supports purchasing process improvements and systems initiatives
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in an FMCG company or Food Manufacturing company as a buyer/purchaser for non-trade/ equipment/ services
- Very good negotiation and purchasing skills
- Has good coordination skills
- Computer Skills (Excel, Power Point, Word)
- Organized and highly adaptable to fast-paced environment and multiple projects
- With very keen attention to detail, discipline for routines and processes
- Excellent command of the English language, both in oral and written communication
- Solutions-oriented, able to think and act quickly - not bogged down by challenges
- Forward-thinker, learns from challenges and able to plan out for future
- 5 days work schedule
- Shortened work hours by 7 or 7.5 hours during lean months
