1.1 Regular Duties
1.1.1 Ensures the cleaning schedule and set-up of the restaurant / food outlet is followed by the assigned personnel, and inspects his section thoroughly.
1.1.2 Assists guest and other inquiries.
1.1.3 Ensures that guests are charged for pertinent special requests and services.
1.1.4 Conducts workstation spot checks to ensure food items are correctly stored to minimize deterioration.
1.1.5 Monitors and manages the various assigned workstation functions.
1.1.6 Observes and evaluates staff and work procedures to ensure quality standards and service are met.
1.1.7 Opening and closing duties in order with SOP’s.
1.1.8 Conducts daily shift meetings
1.1.9 Supports the Management in weekly and monthly departmental trainings
1.2 Occasional Duties
1.2.1 Makes recommendations regarding personnel actions such as new hire requests and discharges, to ensure adequate and continuous staffing.
1.2.2 Inspects workstations, work areas, equipment, etc. to ensure efficient service and conformance to standards.
5.3 Performs other duties as may be assigned by the immediate superior. (Does not apply to top management.)
6.0 QUALIFICATIONS:
6.1 Education
6.1.1 Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Studies / Administration / Management, Food and Beverage Services Management, Culinary Arts, Hospitality / Tourism / Hotel Restaurant & Institution Management or equivalent.
6.2 Work Experience/s:
6.2.1 At least 5 years experience in a deluxe restaurant as a waiter as waiter & 1 year as an acting waiter supervisor.
6.3 Special Qualities/Skills Required:
6.3.1 Personable with demonstrated leadership skills.
6.3.2 Must have excellent oral & written communication and conversation skills (both English & Tagalog).
6.3.3 Knowledge of providing personalized services including delivery of quality services and guest satisfaction.
6.3.4 Must possess excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
6.3.5 Must have pleasing personality.
