Job Requirements:
  • 2.5-5 years of e-commerce management experience: A proven track record in managing and growing e-commerce businesses, specifically using Shopify and Amazon platforms, is required. This includes handling product listings, optimizing for sales, and maintaining the overall health of the online store.
  • Advanced Shopify and Amazon expertise: Candidates must demonstrate deep knowledge and hands-on experience with both Shopify and Amazon, including the ability to navigate complex functionalities, manage inventory, optimize SEO, and handle order fulfillment. Familiarity with best practices for increasing store visibility and sales on these platforms is essential.
  • Experience maintaining virtual shops: Proven experience in maintaining virtual storefronts on Shopify, Amazon, and Etsy, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, product updates, and platform-specific optimizations.
  • Etsy experience: While not a requirement, experience with Etsy is highly preferred. This includes managing stores, optimizing listings for search and sales, and understanding the unique aspects of the Etsy marketplace.
  • Apparel, embroidery, and screen printing knowledge: Preference will be given to candidates with experience or familiarity in these industries, particularly if you’ve worked with online stores selling apparel, custom embroidery, or screen-printed products.
  • Strong background in blog writing and copywriting: The ability to create compelling, SEO-optimized product descriptions, blog posts, and marketing copy is essential. This role requires a candidate who can effectively communicate product value, engage audiences, and support overall brand storytelling.
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills: You should be adept at managing multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring high accuracy in product listings, inventory management, and order fulfillment across various e-commerce platforms.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills: Candidates must be able to collaborate effectively with team members and take direction from the business owner, including participating in regular calls and offering clear and concise updates.
Core responsibilities:
  • Ensure all product listings are well-organized with accurate and engaging titles and descriptions across platforms (Amazon, Etsy, Shopify).
  • Regularly review and improve the SEO of product listings, including updating file names, alt text, and metadata for photos and product descriptions.
  • Conduct audits of all sales channels to verify that products are listed properly and fully optimized for visibility.
  • Manage and update product listings on Google Merchant, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Utilize the Semrush tool to optimize SEO efforts and improve online visibility.
  • Update and maintain Amazon A+ content for product listings, ensuring they adhere to best practices for conversions and branding.
  • Work directly with Amazon's help desk to resolve any issues or challenges related to product listings, sales, or compliance.
  • Maintain Shopify and other sales channels by updating product images and information as needed.
  • Periodically write blogs and create content, especially during downtime or when other tasks are complete.
  • Ensure that all SKUs and pertinent product information are accurately listed and maintained across all platforms.
  • Assist in sending out emails, brainstorming, and implementing strategies to build and grow the email audience.
  • Occasionally support advertising strategies, including running A/B tests as needed.
