We are actively looking for a Events Monitoring Lead to join one of our global client partners.
Client Industry: Energy and Utilities
Salary: ₱70,000
Work Setup: Onsite
Shift Schedule: 24x7, Shifting Schedule
Location: Pasig City
Your Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Event Monitoring Team.
- Ensure team members are adequately trained and have the necessary tools and resources.
- Assign roles and responsibilities within the team.
- Conduct regular team meetings to review performance and discuss improvements.
- Event Monitoring and Detection:
- Oversee the continuous monitoring of IT infrastructure and applications.
- Ensure that all critical systems and services are monitored.
- Establish and maintain monitoring thresholds and alert configurations.
- Event Logging and Categorization:
- Ensure that events are accurately logged in the event management system.
- Categorize events based on their nature and potential impact.
- Prioritize events to ensure timely response to critical issues.
- Event Response and Escalation:
- Develop and implement procedures for event response.
- Ensure that events are responded to according to their priority and impact.
- Escalate events to the appropriate teams or individuals when necessary.
- Coordination with Other Teams:
- Collaborate with Incident Management, Problem Management, and other ITSM processes.
- Ensure that relevant information is shared with these teams to facilitate resolution and root cause analysis.
- Work with Change Management to assess the impact of changes on event monitoring.
- Reporting and Analysis:
- Generate regular reports on event monitoring activities and performance.
- Analyze event data to identify trends, patterns, and potential areas for improvement.
- Provide insights and recommendations to improve the overall
- At least 5 years of working experience dealing with data center operations, specifically monitoring applications and infrastructure using any of the monitoring tools:
- Dynatrace
- Nagios
- Solarwinds
- Spunk
- At least 2 years of experience as a Team Lead
