About the Job
Ensure that PSACC follows proper fixed assets management, correct financial reporting, proper compliance/ execution of operating controls and deployment of adequate system management.
Fixed Asset Management:

• Maintain and update the fixed asset register in Sertica system.
• Track asset acquisitions, transfers, retirements, and disposals in Netsuite system.
• Ensure proper classification, coding, mapping and configuration of fixed assets by coordinating closely with MIS/OE team.
• Perform periodic physical verification of fixed assets.
• Calculate and record depreciation for all fixed assets.
• Prepare and maintain detailed records of fixed assets, including cost, accumulated depreciation, and net book value including any obsolescence or asset damages.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards (e.g., GAAP, IFRS).

Financial Reporting

• Facilitate the preparation of financial statements and reports related to fixed assets.
• Provide data and analysis for budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Support internal and external audits related to fixed assets.
• Ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end close processes including ad-hoc reports and reconciliations.

Compliance and Control

• Establish, update and implement policies and procedures for fixed asset management.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and regulations.
• Identify and mitigate risks associated with fixed asset management.

System Management

• Utilize accounting software and fixed assets management systems to track and report fixed assets (Netsuite, Sertica, etc).
• Ensure system data integrity and accuracy.
• Collaborate with MIS/OE/Supply and other departments to enhance system capabilities and improve processes.

Continuous Improvement

• Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.
• Participate in cross-functional projects to optimize fixed asset management.

Stay updated with industry best practices and changes in accounting standards.
Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• Minimum 2 years experience in accounting, with a focus on fixed assets.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards (GAAP, IFRS).
• Proficiency in accounting software and fixed assets management systems.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experienced using an accounting system, preferably knowledgeable with Net Suite or Sertica
• Proficient in Microsoft Office or similar software
• Ability to deal with changes effectively;
• Diligent and with great attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), organization, and planning skills, identify potential risks, and devise contingency plans.
