Duties and Responsibilities
· Handle BIR Tax Audit documentation and coordination.
· Proper filling of supplier invoices, official receipt, billing statements, and acknowledgement receipts
· Monitoring and filing of hard copies of BIR Forn 2307 from customers to be attached on the Quarterly and Annual Income Tax Returns.
· Printing and filing of hard copies of BIR EFPS Returns and payments.
· Follow up AR Collections of Makati and Service Accounts.
· Schedule trips of collector for pick-up of payments and countering of invoices.
· Monitor, scan and send FOC the Business Expense Reimbursements submitted by employees.
· Put on “Hold Status” customer with overdue accounts and advice the Sales Teams concerned.
· Release “ Hold Status” in the COH system once approved.
· Preparation of Purchase Orders to supplier for admin expenses.
· Review of documents submitted for customer accreditation.
· Preparation of Request of payment for admin expenses.
· Submit Annual Audited FS and Income Tax Return to BIR
· Submit the Annual BIR Received copy of Audited FS to SEC and General Form for Financial Statements (GFFS)
· Annual Renewal of Business Permits.
· Annual submission to BIR of Books of Accounts and Inventory List ( every January)
· Responsible for supervising the daily activities of the accounting operations and ensuring that all deadlines, month-end, and year end reports are completed accurately and on time.
· Coordinate and assist with external accounts for the monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for BIR compliance
· Reconciliation of general ledger accounts
· Maintain confidentiality and financial information
· Other special project if any.
Qualifications and skills
· Candidate must possess at least have a bachelor’s degree in finance/ accountancy/ Banking or equivalent
· Required language(s): English, Filipino
· At least 5 years working experience in the related field is required for this position.
· Deep understanding in AFS is an advantage
· Proven work experience as a cost accountant or similar role
· Experience with accounting software and computer literate
· Excellent analytical skills with attention to details
· Integrity, with an ability to handle confidential information.
· Can start immediately.
