Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive HR Manager to oversee the day-to-day human resource operations and ensure compliance with industry standards and employment laws. The ideal candidate will manage the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management, while supporting both local and international teams. This role will be responsible for fostering professional growth, ensuring compliance with legal requirements, and maintaining accurate records to promote smooth and efficient HR processes.
The HR Manager will also collaborate closely with the Australian team to meet client goals and maintain high levels of satisfaction. This is a hands-on role that requires a strong understanding of recruitment strategies, staff development, legal compliance, and administrative processes to support a productive and compliant work environment.
Your Responsibilities:
  • Lead the entire recruitment process, including creating job advertisements, sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and managing onboarding activities.
  • Explore and implement innovative recruitment strategies to meet hiring goals effectively.
  • Develop and manage staff rosters to ensure all shifts are adequately covered according to operational needs.
  • Oversee onboarding tasks, such as compliance checks, contract preparation, and employee orientations, ensuring a smooth start for new hires.
  • Handle offboarding processes, including exit interviews and the recovery of company assets.
  • Conduct thorough background and reference checks to ensure the quality and reliability of new employees.
  • Work closely with the Australian team to align efforts with business goals and maintain high client satisfaction.
  • Provide ongoing support, mentorship, and professional development opportunities to employees to enhance performance and career growth.
  • Design and execute training programs to foster continuous learning and skill development.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant labor laws, safety standards, privacy regulations, and industry-specific requirements such as NDIS and Aged Care guidelines.
  • Verify that all employees hold the necessary qualifications and certifications before starting their roles.
  • Regularly review and update job descriptions to reflect organizational changes and strategic priorities.
  • Manage immigration-related processes, including conducting VEVO checks to ensure legal compliance.
  • Collaborate with managers to monitor employee performance and implement improvement plans as needed.
  • Update company policies and procedures to align with evolving laws and best practices.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and monitor the validity of certifications to ensure compliance.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for HR inquiries, managing communications via phone and email.
  • Perform administrative tasks to ensure efficient office operations and seamless HR processes.
